While attending the University of Manitoba and watching too many movies. Bob came across the Clio awards on TV one night. He thought to himself, "Now that looks like fun!"  

A few years later, he graduated from the Advertising Art program at Red River College in Winnipeg. At that time, he created the winning design for the Canadian Lung Association Christmas Seal Contest. "It was pretty cool to have a piece of your art replicated millions times and mailed around the world." Soon after, Bob was hired by Pattison Outdoor Advertising and it didn’t take long before he fell in love with the industry.

Bob has been honoured dozens of times in several different categories by the Advertising Association of Winnipeg’s annual Signature Awards. Along with the many local awards, Bob has been awarded the International Gold OBIE in New York City.

When not in his office, Bob may be found out on the Lake of the Woods sending time with family and friends, fishing or just playing music with the boys in the band.
